Outdoor Warehouse is a franchise that specialises in everything outdoor and camping related. This was a concept for a campaign, where we played with the idea of all the comforts that you would like when you go camping and how things in nature that can be compared to these comforts.

Title: The Mosquito

MVO1: Here we see the common African mosquito as it lands on the back of its unsuspecting victim.
The female will feed on the blood for the development of her eggs and after obtaining enough, the female will rest for a few days while the blood is digested and eggs are developed.
She has a sharp needle like mouth that she uses to puncturing the skin and then feed on her victim. When she is done feeding and has a full load of blood, she will simply pull out.
SFX: A CORK BEING PULLED OUT OF A BOTTLE.

Title: The Meerkat

MVO1: Here we see the meerkat, which is a member of the mongoose family and inhabits all parts of the Kalahari Desert.
Meerkats forage in groups with one meerkat on guard, watching for predators while the others search for food.
The meerkat on guard is known as a sentry and the sentry duty is usually an hour long. At the first sign of a predator approaching the sentry will let out a.

Title: The Crocodile

SFX: SOUNDS OF THE SAVANNAH.
MVO1: Here we see the great blue wildebeests in their thousands about to cross over a river in a bid to make it to their migratory grazing grounds for the harsh winter.
But in these murky waters, there lays a very cunning and patient hunter, the African crocodile.
It is a game of luck for these wildebeest as the crocodile waits for the perfect moment as wildebeests pass just meters away from the waiting crocodile.
But the crocodile is an opportunistic hunter and will wait for a wildebeest to get close enough.
A single wildebeest strays off by just a meter and straight into the path of the waiting crocodile.
The crocodile does not miss the chance for an easy meal, the crocodile drags the wildebeest down and starts twisting and turning under water.
SFX: A BLENDER BLENDING SOMETHING

Title: The Leopard

MVO1: Here we see the African leopard which has just caught a young Impala.
It will have to get its catch to safety to prevent any other predators from stealing the carcase.
For this the leopard will climb a tree to get the impala off the ground where it can enjoy its meal with out interruption.
The leopard has found a suitable tree and now proceeds to drag the impala carcase up the tree, meter by meter until it reaches a satisfactory height in the tree.
SFX: AN ELEVATOR BELL AND AN ELEVATOR DOOR OPENING.
MVO1: Where it can enjoy its meal in peace.

Title: The Cheetah

SFX: SOUNDS OF THE SAVANNAH.
MVO1: Here we see one of Africa’s shyest animals, the Cheetah.
While lacking the ability to climb, the cheetah can reach speeds up to 120 km/h, making it the fastest land animal.
It is seen here on the hunt and it will use its speed and amazing acceleration to catch its prey.
The cheetah has spotted its prey and off it goes with its staggering speed as it goes after a springbok and not even 30 seconds from when the chase started the cheetah has caught its springbok.
SFX: A MICROWAVE OVEN FINISHING.
